Last updated: 28 July 2026
1. The provider
The PillarsCore Enterprise platform ("Service") is provided by Pillars Core Enterprise ("PillarsCore", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. The Service
PillarsCore is a white-label cloud core banking platform for financial institutions, providing customer management, savings, loans, accounting, compliance, and reporting features under the plan you select.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights;
- engage in fraud, spam, phishing, or misrepresentation;
- upload malware, probe, scan, scrape, or otherwise interfere with security or integrity;
- reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or circumvent technical limits of the Service.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. Intellectual property
Pillars Core Enterprise (and its licensors) retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your subscribed plan.
5. Customer content
You retain ownership of the data and content you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit that content solely to provide and support the Service.
6. Payments, subscriptions and taxes
Our order process and billing are conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing frequency, renewals, cancellations, applicable taxes, and refund handling are governed by Paddle's Checkout / Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
7. Service level and warranties
We work to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from third-party interference. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
9. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Pillars Core Enterprise against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and, subject to legal retention obligations, we will provide a reasonable window to export your data before deletion.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Accra, Ghana, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
13. Assignment and force majeure
You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
